Sean’s 2021 TV Show Rankings: 76 Shows in One Comprehensive List
#51 – #39: Solid Shows
51.) The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers – Season 1
50.) A Discovery of Witches – Season 2
Show took a hit from spending the whole season in the 16th century, but still good. I expect a better final season this year.
49.) Love Life – Season 2
48.) Clickbait
This Netflix mini-series was so ridiculous that I actually liked it.
47.) Big Shot – Season 1
46.) Shadow and Bone – Season 1
TBD. Need Season 2
45.) Stargirl – Season 2
44.) The Sex Lives of College Girls – Season 1
Funny show. Plz don’t watch with your kids.
43.) Zero Chill – Season 1
42.) Ginny & Georgia – Season 1
41.) Snowpiercer – Season 2
40.) Sweet Tooth – Season 1
39.) Falcon and the Winter Soldier
The worst of the MCU shows released this year, by a long shot, but MCU content is still better than most at its worst!
#38 – #28: Liked These!
38.) Cruel Summer – Season 1
Cruel Summer is a Freeform show so no one was talking about it, but it’s actually pretty great. Lots of mystery and intrigue.
37.) Big Mouth – Season 5
36.) What If…? – Season 1
35.) Foundation – Season 1
Apple’s attempt at creating its own Game of Thrones, Foundation was good… but takes a very long time to get going. Definitely excited for what comes next and I wish I could watch some of the episodes on an IMAX screen.
34.) Alex Rider – Season 2
Teenage spy. Adult show. It works.
33.) Lupin – Part 2
32.) Superman and Lois – Season 1
This one isn’t talked about enough. Superman and Lois is a hell of Superman show with great family tones and visual effects with fights that exceed all expectations.
31.) Nine Perfect Strangers
30.) The Nevers – Season 1, Part 1
Boy does this take a turn in the season finale. What a twist!!
29.) Locke and Key – Season 2
28.) You – Season 3
Round 3 of our favorite psychopaths.
#27 – #21: Great Stuff, Just Missed Top 20
27.) Rick and Morty – Season 5
Best season since season 2, I’d say. Some classics in this season.
26.) Curb Your Enthusiasm – Season 11
Last show I watched in 2021, this series as a whole will stand the test of time. Larry David is a mad genius.
25.) Midnight Mass
Not usually one for the horror side of things, Midnight Mass was a great watch. Molly, just watch it you baby.
24.) The Mayor of Kingstown – Season 1
There were times when I wasn’t sure about Renner’s latest show, but boy did it finish strong. Not everyone has Paramount+, but this is a reason to get it for a month.
23.) Hanna – Season 3
Great show, sad that it’s over. Hanna is the teenage girl version of Jason Bourne.
22.) Dexter: New Blood
New Blood felt like the earlier seasons of Dexter while also feeling like something completely new. A fitting end to make up for the last few seasons of the original.
21.) I Know What You Did Last Summer – Season 1
Naturally I found out this was cancelled as I was writing this list, but that doesn’t change anything for me. The show works as a stand-alone season. Unpredictably fun shows are always going to get the bump from me. Madison Iseman might be a star.
