The Most Wonderful Time of the Year: Sean’s Official TV Show Rankings of 2022

#52 – #40: Liked these! We have crossed the halfway point.

52.) Stargirl – Season 3

51.) Treason
Is it just me or is seeing Charlie Cox not playing a blind person super weird?

50.) The Wilds – Season 2

49.) The Sex Lives of College Girls – Season 2

48.) The Flight Attendant – Season 2
Liked this a lot, but nothing like season one. Maybe should’ve stayed a mini-series?

47.) Only Murders in the Building – Season 2
Martin and Short, still hysterical!

46.) The Terminal List

45.) Dead to Me – Season 3

44.) Locke and Key – Season 3

43.) The Recruit – Season 1
I expected nothing out of The Recruit. Wasn’t previously the biggest Noah Centineo fan, but he may have turned me here. Not everyday you get a “fun spy show.”

42.) Westworld – Season 4
A subpar ending led to the show’s ultimate demise this year, but the first four episodes of the season were that good that Westworld‘s final installment gets the 42 spot.

41.) Jack Ryan – Season 3

40.) Werewolf by Night
I’m probably biased, but this was great. The black and white was a fun and unique touch.

#39 – #25: Loved!

39.) Yellowjackets – Season 1
Definitely up there in the ranks of shows that nobody heard about in early 2022.

38.) Big Mouth – Season 6

37.) FBoy Island – Season 2
Has to be the best reality dating show out there, yet HBO felt the need to cancel it. LAME!

36.) The Umbrellas Acadamy – Season 3
One of the most fun shows on TV that gets better with every season. Hopefully the fourth and final season finishes well!

35.) Wednesday – Season 1
Jenna Ortega had a huge breakout year that was capped with Wednesday. The show is great with the classic Tim Burton feel. Worthy of being Netflix’s most watched show ever? Probably not. Awesome show? Yes.

34.) The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel – Season 4
Started off slow and finished as strong as it can. Yet again hoping for a great final season in 2023.

33.) Reboot – Season 1
Go watch on Hulu immediately. One of the funniest shows of the year.

32.) His Dark Materials – Season 3
Great ending! May or may not have gotten a little teary eyed.

31.) The Dropout

30.) Bridgerton – Season 2
Initially hated the shift in focus to the next Bridgerton sibling, but in many ways it ended up better than the first.

29.) The Book of Boba Fett
AKA The Mandalorian Season 2.5. Honestly, this show was average at best until the fifth episode. Then we got maybe the best two hours of TV of the year. Maybe. Those two episodes jumped this up a good 30 spots on the list.

28.) Harley Quinn – Season 3

27.) Moon Knight
Didn’t have the level of action you would expect out of one of the most violent superheroes, but Oscar Isaac absolutely crushed this role

26.) Ozark – Season 4
Not quite the incredible success that was season 3, but Ozark finished on a high note. The bad guys win.

25.) Euphoria – Season 2
Again, a bit of a step back from a better season 1, but still some of the best acting out there.
