Sean’s Synopsis: When Sarah (Milioti) meets Nyles (Samberg) at her sister’s wedding, they hit it off and spend most of the evening together. But when Sarah follows Nyles into a cave with glowing light at the end of the night, she wakes up to find that it is, once again, the day of her sister’s wedding. You got it, it’s a Groundhog Day movie.

Sean’s Verdict: Palm Springs is a Groundhog Day movie. Therefore, it has all of the typical Groundhog Day movie aspects. What makes this one different is the fact that both of our main characters are aware of what’s happening to them, not just one. In a sense, that’s nice because you don’t have to go through the “explanation” portion every time they wake up, but overall this movie feels pretty uninspired. The combination of Milioti and Samberg is a good one and makes it worthy of at least one viewing, but I doubt many people will willingly watch it a second time. I did laugh a little bit though!
