Sean’s Synopsis: The true story of the creation of an all female wrestling show in LA in the 1980s called the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling, or GLOW. The show follows Ruth (Brie), an actress struggling to find work, and Debbie (Gilpin), a former television soap star, as they both end up as the stars of GLOW, despite their troubled friendship.

Sean’s Verdict: This is a really good show. Sure, it’s about wrestling and wrestling is fake and stupid and like a soap opera with dumb fighting and blah blah blah. But the thing is, it’s not really about the wrestling. It’s about the characters, and they’re intriguing and weird and pretty damn funny. Many of you won’t be able to deal with the wrestling piece of this, and it does get cringey on occasion, but if you can get past that, you’re really going to like it.
