The 100
Netflix
Length: 6 Seasons (7th currently airing)
Starring: Eliza Taylor, Bob Morley, Henry Ian Cusick
Sean’s Synopsis: Approximately 100 years after the nuclear holocaust, the last of the human race, who have been living in a space station orbiting the planet, send 100 juvenile delinquents down to the Earth’s surface to see if the planet is survivable. When the teenagers land, the teenagers find that not only can they survive on the ground, but they also aren’t alone…
Sean’s Verdict: The 100 is a sneaky good show, and one of our favorites. Not only do you get a group of teenagers trying to create their own society in a new world, but you also get to see them clash with those who have been living on the ground. Those on the ground are the most intriguing part of the show, as you slowly learn about their mythology and way of life. It’s easy to think that a show like this would eventually fall apart from staleness, like The Walking Dead, but it doesn’t. Every season re-invents itself, always keeping things interesting.
