Sean’s Synopsis: A man adopts seven children who were all born on the same day, all with extraordinary abilities. Together, as kids, they become a crime fighting team known as The Umbrella Academy. Years later, after the team’s disbandment, they are forced to come back together to stop the end of the world.

Sean’s Verdict: Building off the superhero genre that’s taking over everything, this one is pretty different. It’s much darker, but still pretty entertaining. After an episode it will be easy to not jump right into the next, but push through two or three and you’ll be hooked.
