Sean’s Synopsis: Set in the Outer Banks in North Carolina, this show follows a group of four local teenagers as they spend one summer looking for a lost treasure. Naturally, they aren’t the only ones looking for the treasure, and have to also constantly deal with the rich kids in town, their nemeses.

Sean’s Verdict: Hard to not fall in love with this one. I’m not sure what hooked me in, but I was all about this almost instantly. John B, the main character is awesome and his fellow friends, known as the “pogues,” are just the best. It didn’t hurt that Outer Banks felt like an older version of The Goonies, but ultimately this was just fun television, and I will watch it again.
